Career Summary

Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam is an Assistant Professor of HRM at Manarat International University, Dhaka. Mr. Zahid led as a Coordinator of the MBA Program, Department of Business Administration at MIU Gulshan Campus. Mr. Zahid has been working as an Assistant Moderator of different clubs and as a member of different committees.

He is currently studying Ph.D. in Industrial Economics at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing, China under the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC). Mr. Zahid completed his BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Dhaka and also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM).

Mr. Zahid started his career as a Lecturer in Management at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) in June 2008 and he worked there for 2.5 years, then he joined Manarat International University (MIU) in January 2011. In April 2018, he joined as a faculty member at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences-IBRA, Sultanate of Oman.

Mr. Zahid has devoted his interest in research work. He has 17 published articles. Most of his research articles are published in different recognized national and international journals. The main theme of his research is Human Resource Management and Industrial Economics. He has also published a book on “Key Terms of Human Resource Management (2012)”. Mr. Zahid also entrenched his research contribution in distinguished International Conferences in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Malaysia.
