BBA

Program Objective:

The main objective of MIU’s BBA program is to create business executives who will possess skills and efficiency in congruence with international standards. The scope and purpose of the program is to enhance student’s creativity, entrepreneurship and management capability and equip them to successfully face any business challenges in the global business frontier. Beyond the sound grounding in theoretical framework in business, MIU’s curriculum has been designed to provide the students analytical skills needed to succeed in challenging fields which normally require:

Program Structure:

This BBA program is composed of general education, core, concentration and optional courses. It incorporates strong core courses with required work in economics, finance, accounting, Human Resource management and marketing. Presently, the program provides opportunities to specialize in certain areas like: Finance and Accounting Marketing and International Business Human Resource Management Accounting Information System

Degree Requirements:

To obtain A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, students need to earn a minimum of 130 credits including Internship.

PROGRAMS AND SYLLABUS FOR MBA

Philosophy:

Manarat International University offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) to individual students and professionals desiring to upgrade their knowledge and competency in business management and senior administration. The MBA program has been designed to meet the demands of the national, multinational and also international organizations, and future challenges of business education. It will enable local students to acquire international level quality education and exposure. The courses will be taught and supervised by full time faculty members of Manarat International University supported by selected professionals from Business and Industries and visiting faculty members from institutions abroad.

Objectives:

The objectives of the MBA program are to:
  • Equip promising young students (potential future executives) and working professionals with updated knowledge and skills of business administration.
  • Enhance the abilities of critical thinking, identifying business opportunities and resolving managerial problems.
  • Improve learners core competencies, so that, they can contribute progressively towards increased productivity and accomplish organizational goals in an increasingly competitive global economy.
  • Duration of the Program:

    Participants are expected to complete the MBA degree in either two years (60 Credits), or one year & four months (48 Credits) or one year (36 Credits), depending on the entry requirement for admission into respective MBA Programs. However, students enjoying waivers and credit transfer may be able to complete the degree earlier. The minimum course load in a semester for MBA students is 9 (nine) credit hours in a semester.

    Course Structure:

    The MBA program has four components as follows:
    1. Foundation courses(for 60 Credits, students are required to select only 4)
    2. Core courses
    3. Specialization courses (students can select one of the six areas)
    4. Project work/internship
