Department of Business Administration of MIU arranged a day-long program named “MBA DAY” for celebrating “20 years of glory of the Manarat International University” on 1st October 2021. The program consisted of two sessions. Session I (Morning) included a seminar, discussion, and colorful get-together. Prof. Mohammad Abdullah, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Manarat International University was present as the Chief Guest and A.T. M. Fazlul Haq, Prof. Dr. Md. Mozammel Hoq, Mr. Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, FCA, Barrister Foyez Uddin Ahmed were present as special guests.

The program was presided over by Professor M. Harun-Ar-Rashid, Dean of the School of Business and Economics of MIU. Faculty members of DBA, Heads and faculty members from other departments were present in the session. Current and Ex-Students of the Department of Business Administration attended in the program. Eminent academics, researchers and senior officials of various corporate organizations were present in the program. The media partners of the program were Daily Nayadiganta, Daily New Age, Radio 96.4 FM. The co-sponsors were Hurray Wafer and the Brand Korea Bangladesh.

Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Founder President of the Federation of Bangladesh Human Resource Organizations (FBHRO) and K.M Ali, CEO of Space Business Consulting Services addressed the seminar on "Business Education: Linkage of Academia and Corporate" in the Session I.

Session II (afternoon) included farewell, discussion and get-together. Prof. Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, Manarat International University was present as the chief Guest and Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rob, Professor Dr. M. Umar Ali, Mr. Manirul Islam, Registrar, MIU, Mr. Hafizul Islam Mian, Treaserer of MIU, Former Registrar Abul Basher Khan and other famous persons were present as special guests in the session II. The key discussant of this session was Prof. Dr. Choudhury Mahmood Hasan, Member, Board of Trustees Manarat International University.

The guest of honor at the session was Mr. Nure A. Khan, Head of Project, Birds Group. On the occasion of the program, a reception was given to seven meritorious students who have completed MBA degree from Manarat International University at different times.

The Students admitted to the MBA program on MBA DAY were given a discount of up to Tk. 15,000 on tuition fees. At the same time they were given pens, bags, key rings and other gift items. Both of the sessions were participatory and enjoyable for all.
